  • Code the Dream offers software development training, equipping participants to establish impactful careers in tech.
  • Meta Mission Techies provides training for technology careers.
It is essential to successfully complete and obtain the certificate offered by your chosen program.

Code the Dream 🔗

Code the Dream offers free, flexible software development training. The program includes online classes ranging from basic coding to advanced development, all fully remote and requiring 10-20 hours per week.

Students benefit from a flipped classroom model, engaging in self-study and group sessions, and receive personalized guidance from experienced mentors.

The journey from application through training to career launch includes practicum and apprenticeship opportunities, empowering students to start tech careers and give back to their communities.

Additionally Code the Dream is accessible to individuals without a high school diploma.

Meta Mission Techies 🔗

Mission Techie graduates can pursue a role as Database Administrators, a component of back-end web development (BEW); manage databases, while overseeing performance, and upgrade processes.

In 2020, Meta Mission Techies did not require a high school diploma or GED; however, updates to their website now indicate that these qualifications are necessary. For further clarification, it is advisable to contact the program directly.

As of April 2024, the only advisable education that Meta Mission Techies provides is database administrator, as it is the sole SWE career training offered. Although they previously offered full-stack SWE training in 2020. Therefore, Code the Dream is the more suitable option.
